Jane W. Falk

September 27, 1926 — March 19, 2025

Lititz, PA

S. Jane W. Falk , a resident of Brethren Village, Lititz, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 19,2025 at the age of 98. Born on Sept. 27, 1926 in Elizabethtown, PA to the late Frank E. and Golda L. Wagner, she graduated from J.P. McCaskey H.S., Lancaster, in 1944.

Jane married the late Everett L. Falk in 1947, and they enjoyed 41 years of marriage until his passing in 1988. Together they raised three daughters: Janice, Barbara, and Carol. She worked for Raub Supply Company from 1945 to 1952, left the workforce to raise her family, and returned to Raub in 1968 until 1979, when she and Everett moved to Findlay, Ohio. Jane returned to Millersville in 1988 and worked at Rhodes Pharmacy from 1989 until 2006.

A devoted Christian, Jane was a faithful life-long member of Lancaster First Church of God, now Chestnut Hill Church. Among her multiple contributions to the church, she participated in senior and women’s ministries and served many years on church council.

Jane was active in Girl Scouts and was an avid reader for the entirety of her life. Visitors to her room at Brethren Village would often encounter Jane deeply involved in a lengthy novel. Jane loved bowling and golfing, and participated frequently in both activities into her 80s. At Brethren Village, Jane enjoyed continuing her bowling pursuits with Wii Bowling tournaments, never hesitating to proclaim when she had a good score. She also quickly made many friends there and relished the opportunity to introduce her friends to her visiting family members.

As a grandmother, Jane was an incredibly attentive supporter of her grandchildren’s sporting events and other activities, striving to rarely miss any of their events. In addition to her physical support, she uplifted her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren consistently in her unfailing prayer life.

Jane’s warm demeanor and light soul will be missed by her three daughters: Janice L. (wife of Joseph Michael) Herman, Conestoga; Barbara A. (wife of Thomas G.) Massey, Lancaster; and Carol E. (wife of Rodney D.) Schaum, Mount Joy; her eight grandchildren and her 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank E. Wagner, Jr.
