Jane Hollinger Kaufhold
Jane Hollinger Kaufhold passed away on May 14 at St. Anne’s Retirement Community.
Born in Rohrerstown, Pennsylvania, Jane was the daughter of John Witmer Hollinger and Emma Nissley Forrey Hollinger. Her husband, Jack Kaufhold passed away in 1982. A beloved grandchild, Christopher Kaufhold, also predeceased her in 1995.
Jane was a member of The First Presbyterian Church since 1940. She retired in 1982 after working for R.R. Donnelly Printing Company for twenty-four years.
Jane enjoyed attending Penn State football games and traveling with her husband. She loved talking about her grandchildren and especially her great grandchildren. Living in the north end of Lancaster for over fifty years, she loved the city life of Lancaster and later, the wonderful caring community of her second home at St. Anne’s. No words can express the appreciation the family feels for the staff and personnel at St. Anne’s Retirement Community.
Two sons, Dr. John Kaufhold of Gastonia, North Carolina and Mike Kaufhold of Millersville; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, survive her. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers.
