Janet L. Abel

Janet L. Abel, 62, of Mountville., PA, passed away on January 3, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of Charles L. Abel.   Born in Yonkers, NY., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Edith (Howe) Peters.

She dedicated her life to her family and spent much of her life as a homemaker.

In her spare time, she enjoyed singing, cooking, listening to music, traveling, watching television, playing Rummikub and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two children, Brie and Bedelia, as well as her loving dog Bailey.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in the DeBord Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA 17602 on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Friends may greet the family from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
