Jean A. Alexander, 87, of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Conestoga View. She was the wife of the late John R. Alexander. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late J. Wilmer Bradley and Ella (Hurst) Bradley.
After high school she spent much of her career as an operator with Bell Telephone.
She is survived by 2 sisters; 2 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 daughters; a sister, and 4 brothers.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Christ United Methodist Church, 935 E. Walnut St., Lancaster, PA 17602. The visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society of Lancaster County, 314 Good Dr., Lancaster, PA.
