Jean M. Johnson, 88, formerly of Orchard St., Lancaster, died Saturday, November 17, 2012 at ManorCare in Lancaster.
She was the wife of the late Clarence H. Johnson who died in 1974. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Samuel T. and Elizabeth M. Snyder Morrison.
Jean had been employed as a bookkeeper for Manor Management Corporation for over 30 years. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Lancaster. Jean had enjoyed knitting and traveling.
Surviving are two sons, Ronald Johnson of Henderson, NV, and Richard husband of Alice L. Johnson of Manheim; four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother Wilbur T. Morrison, by a sister Virginia Huber, and by a half sister Helen Bucks.
Services and Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 2449 South Queen Street, York, PA 17402.
