Jean R. Small
Jean R. Small, 87, of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Homestead Village Retirement Community. She was the loving wife of John “Jack” A. Small to whom she was married to for 66 years.
Born in Lancaster, PA she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Jennie M. (Hershey) Schlegelmilch.
A lifetime resident of Lancaster County, she worked as a bookkeeper for various employers.
In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, reading and yearly vacations in Florida.
In addition to her husband Jack, she is survived by a daughter Marie Adams (wife of Joseph) of Mount Joy and two grandsons, Matthew and Michael Adams.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family with interment in Silver Spring Cemetery.
