Jeffrey R Hartman, 74, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, passed away on July 3, 2024 at Calvary Fellowship Homes. Born on October 26, 1949 in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Richard F Hartman and the late Lela Reed. He was the brother of the late Judith Endriss (husband Carl) of Philadelphia.
Jeff was a graduate of West Chester University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree, and from Millersville University with a Master’s degree in Education. He was employed as a Physical Education teacher for 38 years, finishing his career in the Eastern Lancaster County School District in New Holland. Jeff was a member of the Diving team at West Chester University and an avid cyclist. He was also a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Lititz, PA.
He is survived by his brother-in-law Carl Endriss of Philadelphia, his nieces, Laura Zell of Mount Joy, Melissa Endriss of Philadelphia and nephews, Peter Endriss (Manuela) of Philadelphia, Mark Endriss of West Chester, and David Endriss (Alicia) of King of Prussia; and grand nephews Moritz, Felix, and Maximilian Endriss of Philadelphia and Owen Zell of Lebanon, and a grand niece (Alicia).
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery, 11 Greenfield Road Lancaster, PA.
