Jeffrey L. Steely

Jeffrey L. Steely, 55, of Lancaster, died Saturday, December 25, 2010 at L a n c a s t e r General Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Clifford K. and Barbara Fitzgerald Steely of Ephrata. Earlier in life, Jeffrey had been employed as a truck driver. He was a member of the West End Mennonite Fellowship and the Arch Street Center. He enjoyed watching football, playing cards and classic movies. Surviving besides his parents is a sister, Penny Steely of Akron; two brothers, Craig Steely and Dennis Steely both of Lancaster; two nephews, Chad Steely of Peach Bottom, and Zachary Steely of Akron; and a paternal grandmother, Ida Steely of Ephrata. Services and interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
