Joanne C. Lefever, 78, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Conestoga View. She was the wife of the late Phares H. Lefever.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Norman G. and Helen M. (McDonald) Miller.
In her spare time she enjoyed shopping and traveling.
She is survived by her children; Faith Devlin (wife of Ernest) of Lancaster, PA and her son Steven Showaker (husband of Frances) of Lawton, OK; and 2 brothers, Norman Miller and Isaac Miller. Also surviving are 2 granddaughters; Christina Showaker and Sherry Helm; and 3 great-grandsons.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a celebration of life gathering at the Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA 17602 on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Conestoga Memorial Park
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Alzheimer’s Disease Association, 3544 N. Progress Ave., Suite 205, Harrisburg, PA 17110-9635.
