John E. Ehleiter, Jr.
On Thursday, December 28, 2017, Lancaster native John E. Ehleiter, Jr. passed away at the age of 79. He will be remembered fondly by the students he met in 38 years of teaching, his truest passion; and by the many organizations to which he gave charitably, most notably his beloved alma mater, Franklin & Marshall College.
He is survived by his wife, Deb, son Jake (and daughter-in-law Laura Kratz), and children Jim, Kristina, and Julie from a previous marriage. He is also survived by his sister Joan, and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
In keeping with John’s wishes, there will be no viewing or service. Those who so desire may make donations in memory of John to Organization for Responsible Care of Animals (ORCA), 401 East Orange St., Lancaster PA 17602.
