John Henry Kilheffer, 87, of Millersville, PA, passed away on December 27, 2012 in Millersville. He was the loving husband of Mary Ellen (Thomas) Kilheffer.
He was born on December 28, 1924, in Lititz, Pennsylvania to the late Abram and Dorothy (Amand) Kilheffer.
He was a member of the Sunnyside Mennonite Church where he served as a teacher and superintendent.
John was a lifelong farmer. In later years he was employed by P.L. Rohrer & Bro, Inc., where he packed seeds.
He is survived by his children; Dennis E. married to Anne (Landis) Kilheffer of Mobile AL, J. David married to Marlene (Gall) Kilheffer of Millersville, J. Edwin married to Debra (Harnish) Kilheffer of Millersville, Thomas L. of Lancaster; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. John is also survived by a brother, Willis A. married to Rhoda Kilheffer and a sister, Irene A. Kilheffer Hilsher married to Walter Eby.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service at the Willow Street Mennonite Church, 399 E Penn Grant Rd, Willow Street, on Monday, December 31, at 11:00 am with Pastor Brian Miller officiating. Friends may greet the family from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will be at the New Danville Mennonite Church.
