John J. Tallarico, Sr.
John J. Tallarico, Sr., 70, of Lancaster, died Monday, August 6, 2012 following a lengthy illness
He was married 41 years to Donna L. Mayer Tallarico. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Guitana F. and Lydia M. Miller Tallarico.
John retired from National Bearings where he had been employed as a machinist for 38 years. He enjoyed fishing.
Surviving besides his wife is a daughter, Pamela D. wife of Gary Sigel of Columbia; a son, John J. ,Jr. husband of Paula L. Tallarico of York; five grandchildren, a sister, Elizabeth wife of Charles Eshelman of Millersville; and two brothers, Robert husband of Joyce Burger of New Providence, and Thomas husband of Bonnie Burger of Millersville. He was preceded in death by a brother Frank Tallarico.
A Graveside service will be held on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Grace United Methodist Church Cemetery, 163 West Frederick Street, Millersville, PA with the Rev. John Laughlin officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Drive, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
