John “Jack” N. Reardon, Jr., 95, of Lancaster, passed away on January 25, 2025 at the Glen at Willow Valley Communities. He was the loving husband of Joan (Hoffman) Reardon.
Born in Philadelphia, PA. he was the son of the late John and Gertrude (Seher) Reardon.
After high school, Jack proudly served in the US Army. He attended the Army Language School in Monterey, CA and acted as a Russian interpreter during the Korean Conflict.
After receiving his master’s degree in business administration, he spent much of his career as a certified public accountant and acted as chief executive officer for Users, Inc.
In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his adoring wife and was the former chair of the Wharton School of Business Alumni Society and the former President of the University of Penn Alumni Society.
In addition to his wife, Joan, he is survived by a brother, Dr. Frederick H. Reardon of Sacramento, CA.
Per his wishes, there will be no pubic services with his cremated remains being interred in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to: Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens, 631 Berwyn Baptist Road, Devon, PA 19333 or to Caring Hospice Services of Central PA, 101 Good Dr. Unit 1, Lancaster, PA 17603.
