Jordan S. Glatfelter

Jordan S. Glatfelter, 25, of Lincoln University, Pa, formerly of Willow Street, PA lost his battle with cancer on Thursday, March 6, 2014.  He fought a courageous and hard battle with unbelievable dignity and grace, on his own terms and never allowed it to define his life.  His motto through this entire fight was “keep on keepin’ on and never lose hope”.

Born in Lancaster, PA, he was the husband of Blythe (Kegel) Glatfelter and the son of B .Peter and Susanne (Ault) Glatfelter.  Jordan graduated from Lampeter-Strasburg High School in 2007 and was employed as the mail courier for the County of Lancaster.

Jordan loved the outdoors, and his life’s passions were hunting and fishing. One of his favorite places to spend time with his family and friends was the boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland where he loved to play the claw machines. He always worried about taking care of his family and friends before he took care of himself.

In addition to his wife and parents, Jordan is survived by his sister, Sara Glatfelter; maternal grandmother, Betty Ault; aunt, Linda Shelly; uncle, Scott, husband of Tina Ault and their children, Katherine, Harrison and Maribeth; uncle, Stephen, husband of Denise Glatfelter and their children Jennifer and Stephen; aunt, Phyllis, wife of Fred Powell and their children Gretchen and Eric; parents- in-law, Frank and Gale Kegel, and grandmother-in-law Jean Arscott. In addition to his relatives, a very special lifetime friend, Emil Erdos and the most extraordinary best friend any one could ever ask for, Aaron Stinson.

Friends of Jordan will hold a celebration of his life

on Sunday,

5-12pm

at the American Legion Post # 34, 1388 Arcadia Road, Lancaster PA
