Joseph L. Hall, 79, of Lancaster, died Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Oak Leaf Manor in Landisville.
He was married 52 years to Shirley Barr Hall. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late James A. and Miriam Ressler Hall.
Joseph was a construction electrician with IBEW for 38 years. He was also employed as the plant engineer at Dutch Gold Honey from 1990 to 1997. Joseph served in the U.S. Navy Reserves from 1951 to 1958.
Joseph enjoyed restoring his classic Corvette and taking care of his 100 azaleas. He was a past member of the Corvette Club and the Union County Sportsman’s Club.
Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Kathy J. wife of Todd L. Jack of Landisville; a son, Jeffrey Lee husband of Rita C. Hall of Rehrersburg; and four grandchildren, Yvette Lentz, Kyle Hall, Josh Hall and Brandon Jack. He was preceded in death by a brother, James William Hall of Tucson, AZ.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Richard A. Sheetz Funeral Home, 2024 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, PA with the Reverend Daniel F. Derk officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
