Joseph Molnar, Jr.
Joseph Molnar, Jr., 90, loving husband of Joann, passed away on June 18, 2017 at Willow Valley Communities. He was married to Joann (Donahue) Molnar for 61 years. Born in New York City in 1926, he was the son of the late Joseph Molnar, Sr. and Margaret (Farkas) Molnar.
He proudly served in the U.S. Navy Seabees Branch from 1944-1946.
He received his education from Farmingdale University.
Joseph worked in the engineering department as a Designing Engineer for the Suffolk County Water Authority for 31 years retiring in 1990.
He and his wife Joann moved from Huntington, NY to Willow Valley Lakes in 2003 and was a member of Westgate Baptist Church.
Joe loved time spent with friends golfing and surfcasting.
In addition to his wife Joann, he is survived by nieces, Carole Biswurn (wife of Ken), Priscilla Vieldhouse (wife of James) and nephews, Timothy Molnar and David Molnar (husband of Debbie). He was predeceased by his siblings, John Molnar and Betsey Bocskay and by a niece Barbara Beardsley
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. Interment will be private in Willow Street U.C.C Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Westgate Baptist Church, 2235 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601 or to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 3551 N Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19140.
