Judith Ann Leed
Judith Ann Leed, 78, of Lancaster was given the gift of life on March 14, 1939. On Monday, May 1, 2017 at Hospice & Community Care of Mt. Joy, PA our Heavenly Father called her home.
Born in Lancaster, PA she was the daughter of the late George and Geraldine (Hohman) Sherk.
After graduating from high school, Judy spent much of her career as a quality control inspector for Kerr Glass in Lancaster, PA.
In her spare time, Judy enjoyed traveling, camping and spending time with family and friends. Her love and passion for animals was evident by her spending many days pet setting. Judy had a zest for life and smile that was contagious to all around her.
She is survived by a brother, Edward Dorwart, husband of Julie, as well as nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by twin daughters, who past away shortly after birth, daughter, Debbie and step brothers, Jimmy Dorwart and Bobby Dorwart.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 700 Pleasure Road, Lancaster, PA 17601 on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Friends may greet the family from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane League of Lancaster, 2195 Lincoln Highway, Lancaster, PA 17602 or to Hospice & Community Care, 4075 Old Harrisburg Pike, Mount Joy, PA 17552.
