Judith E. Green
Judith E. Green, 69, a resident of Conestoga View Nursing Home, Lancaster, PA, formerly of West Chester, died at the home on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 of cancer.
Born in Sargent, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late James B. Green IV and Ellen Mae Anderson Whitcomb.
Judith was self-employed as Judy’s Cleaning Service for many years and had many customers in the janitorial service market. She was also employed as an in-home health care provider prior to her stay at the nursing home.
She loved to read books and magazines, going to yard sales and thrift stores, and enjoyed writing letters and sending packages to our servicemen overseas.
Surviving are two daughters, Laura Lowery of Ronks, PA and Cheryl Corum of Cochranville, PA. Brother and Sister, Ted Green and Michiko Green of Kendall Park, NJ and Brother, James B. Green V of Downingtown, PA.
She had five g
randchildren, Elizabeth, Mary and Wesley Lowery IV, Brittney Burns and Michael Corum. She had one great-granddaughter, Sophie Burns.
A Memorial Service will be held on
Saturday, August 5
, at
12:00 noon
at the Leacock Presbyterian Church, 3181 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise, PA.
Her private internment service will be held at a later date.
