June E. Ammlung, 90, a resident of Lakeside at Willow Valley, Willow Street, PA died at the home on Wednesday. January 13, 2010.
She was the wife of the late Charles C. Ammlung, Jr. who died in 2002. Born in Narberth, she was the daughter of the late Barry S., Sr. and Rosalind Clover Hall Mellor.
Mrs. Ammlung was a homemaker and a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Lancaster. She was a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia and enjoyed painting, art, knitting, dining out, watching television, playing cards and spending time in Stone Harbor, NJ.
Surviving are two sons, Barry Stephen Warner of Boothwyn, and Peter C. Ammlung of Aston; a daughter, Rosalind H. wife of John C. Evans of Downingtown; two grandchildren, Clayton Douglas Evans and Christian DuVal Evans; two sisters, Helen Greenlee of Short Hills, NJ and Faith Platt of West Chester. She was preceded in death by a sister, Rosalind Clover Blair, and by a brother, Barry Stephen Mellor II.
A Funeral Service, with Rev. John Symonds officiating, will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Thomas Auditorium at Willow Valley Lakes, 300 Willow Valley Lakes Drive, Willow Street, PA. Friends may greet the family following the service. Interment in Glenwood Memorial Gardens, 2321 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 10:00 A.M..
