June Kendig
June Gail Louise Kendig (Helm) passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus with her family by her side, on December 25, 2016.
She was the daughter of Janet M. Helm (Waltman) and the late Newton G. Helm. June was married to Kam P. Kendig for 34 years and was a 1977 graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School. June was devoted to and loved spending time with her family, roller skating, playing every sport she could, sitting by the fire on a cold night, dancing, doing crafts, camping, and she loved going to the beach.
In addition to her husband Kam, she is survived by her sons, Chase, Kane and Luke and 5 grandchildren, Kristy, Justin, Izabella, Zion and Zavien. She had 5 siblings, Barb Heiserman, Eugene, Cindy Byrnes and Doug. She was preceded in death by her brother, Glenn.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service at Grace Community Church, 212 Peach Bottom Rd., Willow Street, PA on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Family will greet friends at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in June’s memory may be made to DeBord Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA 17602 to help cover expenses.
