Karen L. Bender

Karen L. Bender, 58, of Mount Joy, went home to be with her lord after a lengthy illness on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Hospice & Community Care.

Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Patricia (Garber) Bender.

In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, spending time with her loving grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Jason Powell, Brandon Powell (husband of Devon) and Shawn Powell; siblings, Beth Anne Walters (wife of Tim), Bob Bender (husband of Wendy), and Justin Tearney. Also surviving are grandchildren, Aubrey Powell, Logan Powell and Ayslnn Powell.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Donna Yohe
