Karen Marie Nauman, 58, of Lancaster, PA, died Tuesday March 7, 2017 due to complications from cancer. She and her husband of 30 years, Michael W. Nauman have two grown daughters, Lindsay and Alison.
Karen was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Those who loved her knew that Karen was selfless, routinely putting those she cared about (and often even strangers) before herself. She approached every aspect of her life with tenacity, grit, and integrity. Employed as an investment broker for the larger part of her life, most recently with RBC Wealth Management, Karen was an intelligent and driven businesswoman who cared deeply for her clients. Karen was also a woman of great faith who had a passion for advancing the kingdom of God, which led her to serve as a short term missionary several times. Building churches and homes for the less fortunate from Mexico to Haiti, Karen could be found tying rebar, pouring concrete, cooking, cleaning, or teaching Bible School.
Karen grew up in a love and faith-filled family in King of Prussia, PA where she attended Upper Merion High School. Karen enjoyed travel, jogging, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Karen was dedicated to personal and relational growth, enjoying self help books and attending self help groups, where she met some of her closest friends and learned invaluable lessons.
