Katharine “Kitty” Watt Bisking, 83, of Lancaster died October 6, 2015 at Landis Homes. Born December 5, 1931, Kitty was the daughter of the late J. Russell and Hazel Kershner Watt. She was preceded in death by her husbands Robert Bisking, Kenneth H. John and Patrick R. Keller. She graduated from J.P. McCaskey and Rider College, and retired as a medical secretary from Bowman and Spitler Assoc.
Kitty will be missed by her children: Patricia wife of John Overly; James John husband of Rebecca; Michael John and his son Michael Paul; Cynthia wife of John Brazina, and a brother, J. Peter Watt. She was loved and known by many as Grandma Kitty.
Kitty was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church of Lancaster, a charter member of the Hempfield Woman’s Club, a former organizer of the Landisville Girl Scouts and a Meal on Wheels volunteer. Her love of Lancaster history led her to Brunswick Tours where she was a tour guide. Kitty enjoyed bowling, golfing, teaching her grandchildren to swim, game night with her family and vacationing in New Hampshire.
The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the staff of Landis Homes who provided compassionate care to Kitty. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Caring Fund at Landis Homes 1001 East Oregon Road, Lititz, PA 17543.
Funeral services and interment will be private.
