Katherine B. Wohlsen
Katherine B. Wohlsen, died at Willow Valley Retirement Communities on June 2, 2015. She was the widow of Albert B. Wohlsen, Jr. who died in 2004.
Born in Lancaster, Kitty was the daughter of the late Marie and Harry Bevis.
Kitty lived her entire life in Lancaster, a city she loved, and where she engaged in many educational and cultural organizations, including Grace Lutheran Church.
Kitty is survived by two daughters: Barbara Nibeck, of Annapolis, MD, and Nancy Morrical, of Oxford, MD. Also surviving are four grandchildren, six great grandsons and one great granddaughter.
A private funeral will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Kitty Wohlsen’s memory to Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Drive, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125 or Grace Lutheran Church, 517 N. Queen St., Lancaster, PA 17603.
