Kathryn I. Kepner
Kathryn I. Kepner, 102, of Millersville, passed away on March 7, 2019 at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. She was the loving wife of the late C. Paul Kepner.
Born in Mummasburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Lena (Deardorff) Cullison.
Kathryn was known for her hard work ethic no matter what the job was that she was doing. During her work life she worked at Musselman’s canning factory, the Gettysburg Furniture Company and 22 years at Edie‘s Cleaners as the final shirt press person. She also cleaned houses for several people and at the Farhnsworth House.
In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, baking, playing bingo, and spending time with her family, particularly her great-granddaughter Natalie.
Kathryn was a longtime member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Gettysburg, PA.
She is survived by a son, Larry E. Kepner (husband of Susan S.) of Millersville, PA; a granddaughter, Kathryn E. Kepner of Hallem, PA and a great-granddaughter Natalie Reed. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 4 sisters and 7 brothers.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Trinity United Church of Christ, 60 E. High St, Gettysburg, PA 17325. Interment will be private in Fairview Cemetery in Arendtsville.
