Kathryn Grissinger Stoudt, 91, died Friday at the Mennonite Home after a brief illness. A graduate of William Penn High School in Harrisburg, she was employed as a telephone operator until her marriage. She and her husband operated Stoudt’s Homemade Ice Cream in Harrisburg for many years; and after retirement moved to a small farmette (Frog Hollow Farm) in Jonestown.
She was an active member and Sunday School teacher at Saint Matthew’s Lutheran Church, Harrisburg and also a member of Sattazahn Lutheran Church, Jonestown.
Her husband of 66 years, Charles M. Stoudt Jr., passed away in June 2007. Surviving are a daughter Sandra married to Larry D. Sauder of Manheim; two granddaughters, Julie married to Gregory Martin, Brownstown and Lisa married to Michael Brubaker, Mount Joy; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Stephanie.
Services and interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
