Kevin Josue Calix-Alvarado

Kevin Josué Calix Alvarado of Lancaster moved on to begin his life with the Lord on August 24

,

2021.  He was born November 29, 1989 in Honduras, Central America.   Kevin was an extremely talented musician and athlete.  He learned to play multiple instruments, including the clarinet, drums and piano.   He composed and authored several songs for different artists.

Kevin was equally creative on the soccer field.  His favorite position was playing forward because he liked to score goals.  He was so good at it, that he played on multiple travel teams, and was recruited to play for Lebanon Valley College.

Kevin Josué Cálix Alvarado was a member of the Alpha and Omega Church of the Brethren for around four years.   He is survived by his girlfriend, and mother of his children, Melissa Enck, his two children, Noah Josue Cálix Alvarado and Kai Alexander Cálix Alvarado, whom he loved with all his heart until the last moment of his life. His parents Liborio and Mayra Calix, and his sisters Kathleen and Elizabeth Cálix Alvarado love and will continue to love him until we see him again in heaven.

Kevin’s Memorial Service will be on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.  at the 141 E. Orange Street, Lancaster location.   The family will greet visitors from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Family is requesting masks be worn for this event.
