Kevin M. Basciano
Kevin M. Basciano, 41, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2016. Born in Lancaster, PA., he was the son of Richard S. (deceased) and Linda (Ferri) Basciano.
After graduating from Central Dauphin High School, Baltimore International Culinary College and University of Maryland – Baltimore, Kevin spent much of his professional career in the area of mortgage and insurance sales, but most recently was the evening hotel manager at the Eden Resort & Suites.
In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his mother Linda, he is survived by his loving daughter, Abbey Basciano; a brother, Jeff Basciano (husband of Jessica Troxell Basciano); a sister, Kelly Brazzo (wife of Keith Brazzo). Also surviving are his nieces: Caitlin & Julia Basciano (Kevin’s Goddaughter), Marina & Samantha Brazzo and his nephew, Brandon Brazzo (his Godson). He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Kathleen Orgill Ferri (Pittsburgh, PA).
A private Memorial Mass will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Harrisburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Samantha J. Brazzo Foundation, 590 Centerville Road #340, Lancaster, PA 17601 or to the Abbey Basciano College Fund.
