Lou Sindy Warfel “Peggy”, age 97 of Luther Acres, Lititz passed away January 7, 2023 at UPMC Lititz. She was employed by A.H. Hoffman Inc. in Landisville in the payroll and accounts payable department, retiring in 1993.
She was a member of Grandview Heights United Methodist Church, an American Red Cross Volunteer and taught Sunday School at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. She was born in Swainsboro GA daughter of David L. and Amanda Barfield Rich.
Predeceased by her husband Samuel V. Warfel, her daughter Sandra L. Kale, her brothers; Louis E. Rich, James F. Rich, John Rich Sr., her sisters Florence M. Holder and Sara J. Rich.
She is survived by her daughter Elois J. Warfel of Lancaster.
Private entombment will be in Conestoga Memorial Park.
