Luisa Cavanaugh,64,died peacefully at home in Fayetteville, NC on September 18th after a 4 year battle with lung cancer.
Luisa was the loving wife of Jan S. Cavanaugh; beloved sister of Mary Ellen Kiernan, Lancaster, PA; John J. Tomei, Kansas City, KS; and beloved daughter-in-law of the Barrie Cavanaugh family. Luisa gave her family and friends the joy of her artistic talents of painting and music. Her wonderful sense of humor and love of animals was also deeply appreciated by her beloved grand nieces and nephews. She made everyone who knew her feel very special. She will be dearly missed by all.
Funeral service will be held in Trinity Episcopal Church, 11 Homer St., Newton Centre, MA on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 10:00 am. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 8:30-9:30 am. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham, Mass.
