Louise G. Diehl, 100, a resident of Homestead Village, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the home.
She was the wife of the late Edgar S. Diehl who died in 1973. Born in Millheim, she was the daughter of the late Frederick E. and Betsy A. Stover Gutelius.
Louise owned the former Swiss Colony Cheese Shop. She graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Home Economics and taught in Johannesburg, Michigan for a number of years.
Surviving is a son Wallace G. Diehl of Chatsworth, CA; a daughter, Anne Craft of Orlando, FL; and a granddaughter Christina Craft of Orange City, FL; and a great grandson Tyler Warmack . She was preceded in death by sisters Mary Gutelius, Violet
Davie, and Catherine Martin.
Services and interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
