Margaret Slosser Hall passed away peacefully in Richmond, Virginia on December 28, 2020. She was born on December 2, 1928 in Williamsport, PA, daughter of Alger Jule and Mary Jane (Belitz) Slosser. Margaret is predeceased by her husband of 36 years, Ray Baker Hall, Jr, and her two siblings, Gene Slosser Kemmers and Alger Jule Slosser, Jr.
A graduate of The Shippen School in Lancaster PA, Margaret went on to graduate from Eastman School of Music, then earned her Master’s degree from Columbia University. She was active in The Junior League of Lancaster and the Lancaster Chapter of PEO, and was a long-time member of the Highland Presbyterian Church choir. Margaret had a joyful passion for all things creative, but more importantly her faith, friends and family.
Margaret is survived by her two daughters, Sara H. Bremner (Daniel C, Sr.), and Margaret H. Norton (William S Sr.).
She was blessed with 4 grandchildren, Lynn Bremner Vogan, Daniel C. Bremner Jr., Joel Hall Bremner and William Scot Norton Jr., and 16 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in Lancaster, PA at a later date. Interment is in Greenwood Cemetery, Lancaster, PA.
