Marguerite J. Sipe
Marguerite J. Sipe, 85, of Lancaster, died Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy.
She was the wife of the late Robert Sipe who died in 2006. Born in Waynesboro, VA she was the daughter of the late Dewey and Grace Corbin Martin.
Mrs. Sipe was a homemaker who enjoyed bingo and loved spending time with her granddaughters.
Surviving is a daughter, Bonnie L. wife of Mark B. Phillips of Lancaster; two granddaughters, Kendal and Taylor Phillips. She was preceded in death by a brother Dewey Martin, Jr. and by a sister Betty McCracken.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her friends, Ginny, Sandy, Dot and Anetta who helped her in so many ways.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 2:30 P.M. at the DeBord Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:30 P.M. until the time of the service. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Drive, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
