Marjorie Louise Kauffman

Marjorie Louise Kauffman age 94 of Brethren Village Lancaster Pa., passed away June 7, 2016. Born in Altoona Pa., she has resided in the Lancaster area after moving from North Manchester, Indiana. She was the director of the YWCA nursery school in Elgin Illinois. She attended Juniata College and Loch Haven College. She was a member of the Lancaster Church of the Brethren.  Her memberships include Juniata College Alumni Assoc., and the Fellowship of Reconciliation, an international peace organization.

Marjorie was predeceased by her first husband Kenneth I. Morse, her parents Walter C. & Ethel Glass Hanawalt and her sister Esther McCormick. She is survived by her husband Rev. Stewart B. Kauffman, her children David A. Morse husband of Janet of Julian, CA., Paul I. Morse husband of Sylvie of Paris, France, Elizabeth A. Morse of Warsaw, Indiana, Stephen Morse husband of Karen of Foley, Alabama, & Mary Dillenbeck wife of Thomas of Santa Cruz, Calif; 6 grandchildren, Sebastien, Sonia, Ana, Ryan, Nathan and Ember; and 5 great-grandchildren, Ethan, Evan, Alli, Margot and Louisa.

Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to a memorial service at Brethren Village, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, PA 17606, on Monday, June 13 at 1:30 PM.   Interment will be private at View Point Cemetery, Mohrsville Pa. In lieu of flowers kindly make donations to Bethany Theological Seminary 61 S. National Rd.
