Marjorie Robson Buzby peacefully passed on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at the age of 99 at the Glen at Willow Valley Retirement Communities in Lancaster, PA.
She was born in Charleston, South Carolina but grew up in Somerville, New Jersey. She graduated from Somerville High School. Marjorie was very active in the First Methodist Church in Somerville her whole life. She enjoyed a variety of activities in the church with many of her friends. She loved to do counted cross stitch and all her children have samples of her beautiful work in their homes. She also loved to play social bridge with her friends. While living at Willow Valley she was active in the resident’s chorus and played Mahjong weekly. She was a friendly and gregarious woman with a wonderful sense of humor and she was well liked by all.
Marjorie was predeceased by her husband Harry K. Buzby, Jr. who passed away on October 20, 2000, her sister Lucille Robson Dibble, and her brother Raymond Robson.
Surviving are her 4 children, Janet Buzby, Linda Buzby Swartz, Sally Buzby and Peter Buzby, 3 grandchildren, Matthew Swartz and his wife Shannon Hoppe, Julie Swartz Mazurek, and Timothy Swartz, and 3 great-grandchildren, Anthony Mazurek, Justin Swartz, and Jeremy Swartz.
Services for Marjorie will be a private family only interment to be scheduled at a later date.
