Mark Joseph Conte, Reading, PA, entered eternal rest on March 12, 2020. He leaves behind the light of his life, his wife Christine Anne Conte, whom he was married to for almost fourteen years.
Mark loved all things Philly, especially the Philadelphia Eagles. He loved music and enjoyed going to concerts with his wife, traveling to Las Vegas for their anniversary almost every year, and being the greatest cat dad to their fur babies. He was a skilled cook and loved making delicious food for others. Anytime you visited Mark, he would have the smoker going on his back porch and a perfect drink to match. He had a great sense of humor and a beautiful smile to match.
Mark worked as a Deputy District Attorney at the West Chester District Attorney’s Office for fifteen years before leaving to partner in the Law Offices of Kelly & Conte. He was an excellent sounding board to all who approached him about their casework, and he enjoyed helping others navigate the law. His charisma and ability to listen to others will be greatly missed.
Those who hope and long for the day when they can see Mark again are his mom, Barbara Conte, his sister Christen and Clark Cooper and their son Jacob, his Uncle, Paul Tartaglia, his parents-in-law Anthony and Jennifer Gorick, his brother-in-law, Anthony P. Gorick, and his sister-in-law Melissa and Kris Kalicicki and their two sons, Brayden and Jacob.
Due to the restrictions from COVID-19, services will be private at the convenience of the family. Mark didn’t want anyone to mourn his passing as much as celebrate his life.
