Mary E. Kilheffer

Mary Ellen Kilheffer, 86, of Millersville, passed away on November, 19, 2013 at home.  She was the loving wife of the late John Henry Kilheffer.

She was born on May 4, 1927, in Millersville, PA to Christian and Ada Murry Thomas.

Mary was a member of the Sunnyside Mennonite Church where she served as a teacher and was involved with the women’s fellowship.

She enjoyed reading, entertaining and gardening.

Mary was a homemaker and was a partner with her husband on the farm.  She enjoyed cleaning and looked forward to her jobs cleaning homes.

She is survived by Dennis E. married to Anne (Landis) Kilheffer of Mobile AL, J. David married to Marlene (Gall) Kilheffer of Millersville, J. Edwin married to Debra (Harnish) Kilheffer of Millersville, Thomas L. of Lancaster, 8 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren.

She is also survived by a sister Helen Harnish of Lititz.  She was predeceased by a brother Murry Thomas and a sister Verna Gochenaur.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service at the Willow Street Mennonite Church 399 E Penn Grant Rd, Willow Street, on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11:00 am with Pastor Brian Miller officiating. Friends may greet the family at the church on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will be at the New Danville Mennonite Cemetery.
