Mary E. McLain, 85, of St. Petersburg, Fl, formerly of Lancaster, died Saturday, October 13, 2012 at her home in Florida.
She was the wife of James C. McLain, Sr.Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Elizabeth Shaub Miller.
Mrs. McLain was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Lancaster.Mary had been a volunteer with Hospice for many years.
Surviving besides her husband is a son, James McLain, Jr. of Catharpin, VA; four daughters, Penny Oxendine of Manassas Park, VA, Kandee Goldsmith of St. Petersburg, FL, Connie Lowe of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Mary Elizabeth Nolte of Blue Springs, MO.She was preceded in death by a son Gerald McLain.
Services and interment in Conestoga Memorial Park will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
