Mary Frances Painter
Mary Frances Painter, 92, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014 at Lancashire Hall. Born in Lancaster, PA she was the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Fulmer) Painter.
She spent much of her career as a secretary for Raub Supply.
Mary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lancaster.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John Painter; two sisters; Anna Mae Parrott, and Helen Marie Cosgrove; a nephew, William Cosgrove; and a niece, Josephine Bomberger. She is survived by three nephews; Patrick Cosgrove, Kenneth Cosgrove, and Thomas Cosgrove, and two nieces; Mary Jo Proctor, and Beth Gable. She is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 St. Joseph St., Lancaster, PA 17603 with the Rev. Tariq Isaac as Celebrant. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment to follow at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
