Mary K. Hemperly, 87, formerly of W. Lemon St., Lancaster, died Sunday, March 14, 2010 at the Mennonite Home.
Mary was the wife of the late J. Walter Hemperly, Jr. who died in 2006. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Cecelia Forry Keller.
Mrs. Hemperly was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lancaster. She was a 1940 graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School.
Surviving is a daughter, Susan L. wife of Kenneth Kohlmaier of Lititz; and three granddaughters, Kim, Kelly and Keri Kohlmaier. She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Services and interment in Conestoga Memorial Park were private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
