Mary Spicer Heuyard Mary Spicer Heuyard, 80, of Lancaster and formerly of Farmdale, was peacefully called home to be with her Lord on February 2, 2011, surrounded by her family. Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of the late Willis and Mary Emma Morrow Rineer. She was married to Barton E. Heuyard for fifteen wonderful years. Mary was a 1949 graduate of Penn Manor High School. A member of the Twalkers, she was known for her record setting walking and talking. Mary enjoyed sewing and painting. She retired from RCA in 1962. Lovingly known as “G.G.,” she devoted her life to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she is survived by three children: Vance, husband of Deborah Spicer of Lancaster, Wally, husband of Beverly Spicer of Waynesboro and Lisa, wife of Anthony Mayo of Lancaster; seven grandchildren, Robert, husband of Joanna Spicer, Vance Spicer, Jeanna, wife of Colin McEvoy, Dustin Spicer, Mindy Lyn Coyle, Tony Mayo and Angela Mayo; two great-grandchildren, Abi and Danny Spicer; and a brother, Willis Ray Rineer of Manheim. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jacqueline Yvonne Spicer, four brothers and two sisters. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service from the Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA on Saturday, February 5th, at 1:00 P.M. The family will greet friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
