Michael J. Keating

Michael Joseph Keating, 71, husband of Hazel “Kitty” Jones Keating, went home to be with his heavenly father on September 9, 2014 at Lebanon VA Medical Center.

He was the son of the late Michael J., Sr. and Anna Tersavige Keating (of Pottstown, PA) and was preceded in death by a younger brother, James.

He was a life member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and an annual member of the Vietnam Veterans of America.  He proudly served in the military for 21 years, including 2 tours of duty in Vietnam in the Navy as a chief corpsman with the marines.

In addition to his wife Kitty, Mr. Keating is survived by a son, Mike and his wife Tracey of Birdsboro; a grandson, Michael (currently serving in the U.S. Air Force) and his fiancee Julie Bihl; a daughter, Lara, and two granddaughters, Melissa and Julianna of Clayton, NC; a step-son, Adam Hart and his wife Shelly, grandchildren, Amber and Scott; and a step-daughter, Tina Karkotsky and her husband Patrick.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service on Monday, September 15, 2014 Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA at 11:30 am
