Mildred Dochterman, 99, formerly of Rohrerstown, died Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at the Mennonite Home, where she had resided for the past eight years.
She was the wife of the late Clayton W. Dochterman who died in 1961. Born in East Lampeter Township, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Mary Harnish Huber.
Mrs. Dochterman had worked at the Central and Southern Markets for different standholders for many years. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and enjoyed crocheting and reading.
Surviving is a daughter, Shelby wife of Kenneth Haverstick of Lancaster; two grandchildren, Kraig Haverstick husband of Meghan VanLeeuwen of Ithaca, NY and Kelly Haverstick wife of Ryan Kling of Maynard, MA; and two great grandchildren Quinn and Phoebe Haverstick.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel at the Mennonite Home, 1520 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster, PA with the Rev. Marvin Reich officiating. Friends may call at the Mennonite Home on Saturday from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service. Interment in Riverview Burial Park, Lancaster, PA.
