Muriel (Betts) Shivery May, 96 of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 27th at the Mennonite Home, Lancaster, PA.
She was the wife of the late Clyde D. May and the daughter of the late Harlan and Mary Criswell Shivery.
Betts was employed as a machine operator for RCA for 27 years.
She enjoyed playing pinochle, cooking, window shopping, and spending time with her loving family.
Surviving is a son Harlan, husband of Constance Kuhn May, of Hidden Valley, PA, and a daughter Gwendolyn May of Lancaster, PA; 2 grandchildren Andrew May and Abby May wife of Michael Phillips and 5 great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 2nd, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Mennonite Home, 1520 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601 with Chaplain Dorcas J. Martzall officiating. Friends may call at the Mennonite Home from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment in Homeville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Mennonite Home or to a charity of ones choosing.
