Myrtle “Midge” Elizabeth Harsh, 87, of Lancaster, PA passed away peacefully Thursday, November 28

2013. Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the wife of Donald S. Harsh with whom she celebrated 65 years of marriage. She was a graduate of Manheim Township High School and a member of First United Methodist Church in Lancaster. Mrs. Harsh was a nurse’s aide at Hamilton Arms Center. She also worked at the former Golden Dawn in downtown Lancaster. She was an avid bingo player, enjoyed word puzzles and painting. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son James David Harsh of Jupiter, FL, five grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Donald Harsh, Sr. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service in Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St. Lancaster, PA on Monday December, 2 at 2:00PM with the Reverend Kerry L. Leeper officiating. Interment in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00PM until the time of service. Please omit flowers, if desired contributions in her memory may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
