Nancy Elaine Millhouse

Nancy Elaine Millhouse, 69. of Lancaster, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Conestoga View where she had resided for the past three years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and caring friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

She was married 48 years to A. Kenneth Millhouse. Born March 24, 1943 in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Leona M. Walters Geist.

Nancy loved music, flowers, playing scrabble and board games. Her greatest enjoyment in life was the time she spent with her family and friends.

She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Lancaster. Nancy was a secretary for over 30 years and spent the last 10 years of her working life as a secretary at Grace Baptist Church.

The family would like to thank the staff of the sixth floor at Conestoga View for the wonderful care given to Nancy during the last years of her life.

Surviving besides her husband is a daughter Kimberly wife of Kevin Bell of Hope Mills, NC,; a son Jeffrey K. husband of Diane Millhouse of Ephrata; six grandchildren; a brother Frank husband of Joyce Geist; a sister, Suzie wife of James Fry; an aunt Jesse Miller; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by a grandson.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Grace Baptist Church, 1899 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster, PA. Friends may call at the Richard A. Sheetz Funeral Home, 2024 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster, on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment in Conestoga Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nancy memory may be made to the Mission Fund at Grace Baptist Church, 1899 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17603 or to the Alzheimer’s Disease Association, 3544 N. Progress Ave., Suite 205, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
