Naomi D. Suydam
Naomi D. Suydam passed away Wednesday October 24th, 2012 at the Mennonite Home. She was the loving wife of the late Walter J. Suydam.
Born in Lancaster, PA she was the daughter of the late John W. and Alice D. (Dourte) Heisey.
Naomi spent much of her professional career as a homemaker.
In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, crocheting, canning, and spending time with her caring family especially her great-grandchildren.
Surviving are her two daughters; Carrol Ann Marty and Cynthia L., wife of Theodore Shertzer both of Lancaster; a grandson, Troy S. Marty; and two great grandchildren; Dylan and Sebastian Marty. Also surviving is her brother John W. Heisey of Idaho.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service at Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA on Friday October 26th, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. with the Reverend Edward Dickel officiating. A viewing will be held from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service. Interment in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to Hospice & Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
