Naomi Mae Stern
On May 3, 2013, Naomi Mae (Eberly) Stern, 77, passed away peacefully at her home in Lancaster, PA. She & her husband, Harold Stern, have been active members of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Naomi attended high school in Chambersburg for 3 years, graduating in ’53 from Shippensburg High. She then completed the Lancaster General Hospital nursing program & worked in pediatrics.
She is survived by her sister, Joyce, married to the late Kenneth Thrush from Bloomsburg, PA; a son, Curtis and his wife Marianne Stern who live in Lookout Mountain, GA, with children Carina, Bryan, Timothy, Paul and Nathan; and 2 daughters, Cynthia (Stern) & R. Anthony Coletti, with 3 daughters, Rosa, Maria and Anna, in Jonesborough, TN; & Carol (Stern) & Stephen Chamberlin and their children Catherine and Scott from North Andover, MA.
Her parents, Treva Jane and Paul Z. Eberly, of Chambersburg, PA, preceded her in death.
A funeral service will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2151 Oregon Pike, Lancaster, PA on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment will be held at the adjoining church cemetery immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to Precept Ministries International, 7324 Noah Reid Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37422.
