, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on October 26, 2016 at Brethren Village Retirement Community. She was the wife of the late John H.
Schmid
who preceded her in death in 1993.
Born in West New York, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Minnie (Francesca)
Cherolio
.
She was a member of St. John
Neuman
Catholic Church where she was active in the church’s Support Group. In her spare time, she enjoyed a variety of activities with her friends at Brethren Village as well as spending time with her adoring family.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Brenner of Lancaster; two grandchildren, Kelly and Steven and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the Brethren Village Chapel, 3001

Pike, Lancaster, PA 17606 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Dan Powell as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Conestoga Memorial Park.
