Nellie H. Kubala

Nellie H. Kubala, 93, of Willow Street, PA, died Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, PA.

Born in Windber, PA, she was the daughter of the late Nicklous and Catherine Metza Sobeck. She was the widow of John J. Kubala, Jr. who died on October 29, 2005.

She retired from Watt & Shand after 32 years of service, and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Surviving is a daughter, Carolyn A., wife of Andre H. Fouchet, and a son, Ronald J., husband of Shirley Hahn Kubala of Lancaster; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, John M. Kubala III and a grandson, John M. Kubala, IV.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be sent to St. Mary’s Catholic Church Building Fund, 119 S. Prince St., Lancaster, PA 17603 or Masonic Village Hospice, 1 Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA  17022

Private funeral services were held at the convenience of the family.
